A stolen car chase in San Francisco took a surreal turn when a suspect abandoned his vehicle on the Bay Bridge and attempted to escape by climbing along the structure's underside, hundreds of feet above the water.
SFPD said the incident began on the afternoon of April 1, when officers spotted a gray car driving in San Francisco on 8th and Market streets.
